Why is May Best Time To Trek in India Himalaya?
The Nanda Devi region is subject to the Indian monsoon. Both May and September are therefore ideal for gaining unsurpassed mountain views. In May, the climate is just about ideal: the long daylight hours, the rhododendrons still in bloom and the passage of the shepherds as they tend their flocks to the summer pastures make it highly attractive.

We ensure that the landowners whose fields we use for camping are paid fairly for the use of their land and we encourage travelers to shop at handicraft shops within the small villages we pass through.
Animal welfare focus
We adhere to our Animal Welfare Code of Conduct in the Indian Himalaya. Many trips we don’t use horse we use man power on trek, if we take horse then we are sure that all animals are in good health before carrying loads and that the loads are appropriate for the animal. We also carry duffel bags extra to bring waste garbage down and provide each trekkers a small bag that help them to put the rappers and plastic.
